Here are some tips to calm your nerves when you’re in front of all your family and friends during your ceremony.

Be familiar with your vows, but don't try to memorise them. You don't need that stress! Read them out loud a few times in the days leading up to your wedding day. Practising them will make you feel so much more comfortable when I give them to you to read during your ceremony.
The night before your wedding day, visualise yourself saying your vows. We'll practice these a little at your rehearsal, but positive imagery can also help you with your speaking anxiety.
Take deep breaths while reading your vows and don't be afraid to take a pause to collect your thoughts and emotions.

Focus on each other and no one else! Pretend you are the only two people in the room. By focussing on reading your vows to each other with full intent and forgetting about your guests in that moment, you’ll feel supported by your true love.
Let those tears flow! I'll have a tissue for you so please don't feel embarrassed to cry...they're happy tears! Most of us will be crying with you so you’re not alone.
Breathe, and breathe some more. Pause to take a deep breath whenever you need to.
Remember, your family and friends are there to share and celebrate your wedding day with you!
